The “Witnesses” by the contemporary artist Mimmo Paladino have arrived in Florence. They are exposed in front of San Lorenzo church, in an impressive row. They are witnesses, and look at us very seriously, almost with severity.
They seem to come from another era, and this is probably their fascination. The “Witnesses” are realised in tufo, and they integrate seamlessly with the marvelous, rough facade of San Lorenzo.
Another occasion to admire the ancient and the modern, in our beautiful city.
