Every month Scuola Toscana offers to the students at least one excursion in Siena. We go by public bus (price : euro 16.70) with one of our specialized teachers who doubles as guide, and we tour the city the whole morning. The teacher then comes back in Florence, while the students who want can remain and continue to discover the city by themselves until the last bus for Florence leaves.

This summer we also had the rare occasion to visit the headquarter of one of the Contrade (the teams which runs the famous Palio horse race)  – a special present to our teacher Caterina (and to all the students who happened to be with her…
